National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving

Thanks Giving, has different meaning to different people, which depends on your culture and upbringing. To Some Thanks Giving is a time for sharing time with family and stuffing your face with as much Turkey as possible. To others it's spending time at the Thanks Giving Day parade where We gawk at the multiple floats that pass by, but does anyone ever consider the History of Thanks Giving and how the day became a national Holiday here in the US. To address this issue, I researched and found an article that gives a wonderful time line and more importantly remind us what Thanks giving is all about.
